The shrine where the main characters, Futaba and Kou, take shelter from the rain. This shrine is dedicated to many people and deities, including Lord Maeda Toshinaga, the feudal-era founder of Takaoka. The shrine’s annual Mikurumayama Festival has been awarded Intangible Cultural Heritage recognition by UNESCO.
